Sensation is one of the world's most iconic dance events. For their SensAdam edition, we were commissioned to create a ceiling installation that would transform the venue into an immersive balloon landscape.
The installation
A massive rainbow balloon ceiling — hundreds of metres of garlands in gradient colour — covering the entire main room. Rising from the circular DJ booth: an organic white balloon sculpture illuminated from within, looking like a living thing growing out of the music.
The scale
This was one of our largest indoor installations. The ceiling alone required thousands of balloons, installed over two days by a team working from scissor lifts. The colour gradient had to be precise — each row shifting slightly in hue to create a smooth rainbow effect visible from every angle in the venue.
